My weather radio has gone off about 10 times in the last hour. I turned on the TV to see the "Local on the 8's" and all they've had is the national weather, even when the local is supposed to be on! Did you get the bad weather you were thinking you might? Who had to go to the hospital???? Glad that it wasn't anything too serious. Hugs to whoever it was! They actually closed a few high schools this week in SAT due to the swine flu. Apparently universities are a different story... Paul trudged in to work today. I read something about this flu a week or two ago & the article said that you actually have to have been sniffing pigs to get it. Can't imagine that there are that many pig-sniffers around the world so maybe I better dig up some more current information. It's amazing how these viruses get started. Paul enlightened me with some info yesterday about how HIV actually got started back in the '70's. That was horrifying news that I didn't really need to know. Is that true about Wal-Mart handing out that stuff? You know how gullible I can be sometimes. ;-) Now here's something that is for sure true ---> KFC is handing out a piece of their new grilled chicken to anyone who comes in - TODAY ONLY. No coupon needed, just go in. No KFC around here (closest is SAT) or I'd be there! Let me know if you try it & what you think. If it's good, I'll give it a whirl the next time I'm there! Good post!!!
